Our mission

Spread Wings Foundation is a non-profit 501 (C)(3) children's charitable trust spreading education of American history, nature and finance through books and photographs. Spread Wings Foundation focuses on helping young people develop an interest in entering the financial job market, empowering entrepreneurs and businesses. According to FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (April 2019 study), nearly two-thirds of Americans have low levels of financial literacy – including 76% of millennials.

The foundation focuses on spreading the education of American financial history as well as nature to young people and adults of all ages. It recognizes underprivileged and minority children. To accomplish this mission, the officers of the foundation contact prospective recipient organizations through telephone, email and personal visits. Additional resources include personal contacts in the financial sector, the Foundation Center of New York, Guidestar , Philanthropy New York and also Massachusetts, and others. The foundation’s initial activity has been the distribution of copies of the book Wall Street: Financial Capital to students of finance, especially high school through graduate programs, who are studying American financial history, free of charge to them.
